Cataract Surgery

Cataract is an eye condition where clouding of the lens occurs in the eye, leading to blurry vision.

Cataract is the most common cause of blindness but it can be conventionally removed via surgery.
We provide Phacoemulsification Surgery and Lens Implantation surgery with wide range of intraocular lenses (IOL) such as Foldable IOL and Multifocal IOL. We also do secondary lens implantation and treat Congenital Cataracts for infants.

LASIK and Other Refractive Surgery

Short/longsightedness and astigmatism are one of the commonest causes of blurred vision in Singapore and around the world.

Our refractive surgeon, Dr Por Yong Ming, is experienced in LASIK as well as other operations like the Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL) to correct vision, and will carefully assess each patient to determine for them, the best way of achieving good vision without glasses. New generation lasers including the Schwind Amaris 750S will be used for very fast surgery with precise treatments of both long/shortsightedness as well as astigmatism.

Glaucoma Diagnostics

Early detection, through regular eye examinations, is important if you want to protect your vision from damage caused by glaucoma.

Glaucoma is the damaging of optic nerves in the eye which may lead to blindness.
We offer complete Glaucoma examinations using various methods such as the Humphrey’s Visual Field Analyzer, Optic Disc Photography, Optical Coherence Tomography and Corneal Pachymetry.

Treatment of External Eye Disease
Our Ophthalmologists are highly skilled in the surgical treatment of various eye diseases which occur on the surface of the eye on the cornea.
This includes conditions such as Pterygium, Dry eyes, Conjunctivitis and Corneal Trauma. These conditions are fairly common and are treated with high success rates.
