Dr Pauline Cheong

A founding partner of Ophthalmic Consultants, she is one of Singapore’s first ophthalmologists to sub-specialise in paediatric ophthalmology.

She is a Consultant Eye Surgeon subspecialising in paediatric ophthalmology, squints and cataract at Ophthalmic Consultants at the Gleneagles Medical Centre and a Visiting Consultant to the Singapore National Eye Centre and KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

Dr Fong Kee Siew

Formerly the Head of Oculoplastics Department at the Singapore National Eye Centre, Dr Fong Kee Siew is a recognised leader in her area of sub-specialty.

She is a Consultant Eye Surgeon subspecialising in, eyelid, orbit and lacrimal surgery and cataract and a Visiting Senior Consultant to the Singapore National Eye Centre and Tan Tock Seng Hospital. She is also Senior Clinical Lecture at the National University of Singapore.

Dr Esther Fu

Dr Esther Fu is a key member in the Ophthalmic Consultants group of eye surgeons and was instrumental in steering Ophthalmic Consultants to where it is today.

She is a Consultant Eye Surgeon subspecialising in cataract, neuro-ophthalmology and refractive surgery at Ophthalmic Consultants at the Gleneagles Medical Centre and a Visiting Consultant to the Singapore National Eye Centre and Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Dr Heng Li Wei

Dr Hoh Sek Tien

Dr Hoh Sek Tien is the first ophthalmologist to use the Optical Coherence Tomography for evaluating optic nerve damage and retinal diseases in Singapore and South-East Asia.

Dr Audrey Pang

Dr Audrey Pang is a Consultant Eye Surgeon who sub-specializes in Paediatric Ophthalmology, Strabismus and Cataract surgery.

In addition to general ophthalmology, she treats paediatric eye conditions such as myopia and amblyopia, and performs squint surgery for both children and adults. Dr Pang completed her undergraduate medical training at Cambridge University, her postgraduate Ophthalmology specialist training in Singapore and subspecialty training in Cambridge, UK.

Dr Por Yong Ming

Dr Por Yong Ming is a Consultant Eye Surgeon subspecialising in cataract, cornea and refractive surgery at Ophthalmic Consultants at the Gleneagles Medical Centre, Singapore.

Dr Por graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1997 with honours and began ophthalmic training in the United Kingdom in 1999. While in the UK, he trained at the renowned Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. He then returned to Singapore in 2001 and was appointed registrar at the Singapore National Eye Centre. Dr Por completed his training in ophthalmology in 2006.

Dr Billy Tan

Dr Billy Tan, a founding partner of Ophthalmic Consultants is a respected surgeon in the surgical treatment of diseases of the vitreous and retina.

He is a Consultant Eye Surgeon subspecialising in vitreo-retinal surgery and cataract at Ophthalmic Consultants at the Gleneagles Medical Centre and a Visiting Consultant to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Dr Yong Shao Onn

Dr Yong graduated from the Royal Free and University College Medical School, University College London in 2000, having been awarded the degrees of Bachelor of Medical Science with 1st Class Honours, and MBBS with Distinction.

Following completion of his internship in London and Singapore, Dr Yong remained in Singapore for his training in Ophthalmology, where he worked at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Alexandra Hospital and the Singapore National Eye Centre.
